 Entry into the Chamber directory

The registration of doctors of medicine with the Serbian Medical Chamber is carried out through registration with the appropriate regional chamber based on the place of residence.
Only physicians whose permanent residential address is in the territory of Vojvodina are registered with the Medical Chamber of Vojvodina.

Physicians are obliged to submit to the appropriate regional Chamber the following:

1. completed request for registration
2. completed records sheet
3. photocopy of ID card
4. certified photocopies of the following documents:
• degree from the Faculty of Medicine,
• certificate of the passed state exam,
• specialization certificate,
• sub-specialization certificate,
• certificate of the title of chief physician, master or PhD,
• certificate of internship from a medical institution (for interns),
• decision of the Ministry of Health on enrollment in a specialization or sub-specialization (for residents)
5. photocopy or the second copy of the payment slip for the fees paid to the Chamber
6. photocopy of the order to the accounting for the payment of the membership fee, certified in the accounting
7. one photograph (35x30mm) for the membership card, with the applicant’s first and last name on the back

The founders of private healthcare institutions are additionally obliged to make an application for their private healthcare institutions to the competent regional Chamber to which they belong based on the address of the institution.

For the application of a private healthcare institution, it is necessary to submit:

1. completed, signed, and certified application of the healthcare institution (the form can be downloaded from the website)
2. certified copy of the decision of the Ministry in charge of healthcare affairs on meeting the requirements in terms of personnel, equipment, facilities, and medicines for the start of operation and performance of healthcare activities
3. list of physicians with their stated specialties and the municipalities of their permanent residence with whom the founder of the private institution concluded a contract of regular or additional work.

Physicians employed in a private healthcare institution can be registered with the Chamber only after the founder of the private healthcare institution makes an application for the institution to the competent regional Chamber.

The documentation can be sent by mail, hand-delivered in person or by a messenger to the premises of the competent regional Chamber.

After registration, the member of the Chamber is issued with the Decision on their entry into the Chamber Directory and a membership card.

If the physician passed the state exam and if there are no impediments to issuing the license, the Regional Medical Chamber will issue to the member the Decision on the existence of conditions for issuing the license, based on which the Serbian Medical Chamber will issue a license for 7 years with a decision.

UIf a member changes the place of residence so that he/she no longer belongs to the regional chamber with which he/she is registered, he/she is obliged to apply to another regional chamber within 30 days.
